Internet Casino Sucker Bets — Part 2

[ English ]
  • Progressive side bets: Games such as Caribbean Stud Poker often contain one of these. You normally place a bet (a dollar is the normal amt.) to attempt to win a bonus jackpot that can be upwards of twenty-five thousand dollars. Though big jackpots like these are extremely tempting, they’re also incredibly hard to succeed. You would have to hit a Royal Flush in order to succeed on this bet. Also, think about this- you wager twenty hands and place the side wager every time. That is $20 you should have used towards the actual game bet in place of a sucker bet. Picture what you could have been able to win at a wager with more favorable odds utilizing that twenty dollars.
  • Individual number bets in Roulette: This is particularly true for American Roulette. Why? American Roulette has two 0’s on the wheel, as opposed to European Roulette, which has just 1. This takes the overall house edge from two% with a single zero wheel to a whopping 5.26percent in American. The single number wager has just a one in 38 chance of winning, which are very long odds indeed. Try even-odd or black-red wagers alternately which have a much lower casino edge.
  • Keno: Any version of Keno, and anyway you gamble on it, the casino edge can be a huge twenty-five percent. Yes, that is not a typo. Because of the huge amount of numbers you have to select, it’s not advisable to bet on Keno very much. A couple of times for enjoyment, perhaps. But do not spend all your cash on it or you will quickly discover yourself broke.
